I am interested in repurposing common source materials like popular novels, vinyl records and playing cards.

For the exhibition (he called me his) Fully Transistorized Baby (2015), I put my collection of 45 rpm recordings on display and gave away posters highlighting “in love” and “out of love” song titles.

For Tapping Jack (2010), I retyped Jack Kerouac’s On The Road then digitally blurred whole sentences transforming the text into image and reducing the content to that of a travelogue. As a result this second generation scroll reveals the frequency of the author’s cultural and romantic voyeurism.
