My current research interests have me looking for examples of beat poetics in contemporary visual culture. My approach is twofold; 1. invert private and public moments. 2. remix found and mythologized narratives. Generally, I have maintained an interest in exploring how photography informs, influences and challenges the construction of identity in the face of cultural expectations.
